If I were to ask you what you’d like to eat right now, what would you say? Often, we wait for others to make suggestions or choices so we can then follow their lead. But what is your choice? What do you feel like eating?
Making a choice or suggestion helps you feel more comfortable. If you’re struggling with self-confidence, this is one way to build more of it. Instead of saying ‘I don’t know or I’m not sure. What would you prefer?’ say something like ‘I am going to try this.’ If you don’t like it, next time you’ll have something else.
