Stopping the search is the hardest part.
It’s not the strategy that you pick. Your goal may be to lose weight, improve your health, succeed in your business, have money, be in a happy relationship, stay consistent with exercise or create a course. Or anything else.
So, it starts with searching for a goal. Once you find a goal, the search continues with the best way of reaching that goal.
While searching for the quickest, easiest way, you stumble across so many strategies and ideas that sometimes you end up changing your goal just to accommodate that strategy.
And other times, you think that none of the strategies you’ve found so far work for you. So you’d better keep looking.
And time goes by. The funny thing is that there’s always hope a perfect strategy will appear with the next click or the next turn of the page. And that’s an illusion.
Because the perfect strategy is to get started. To search within based on actual experience. Not based on thoughts like ‘what if it won’t work’ or ‘I can’t possibly do this’. The perfect strategy is to personalize everything and do things your way.
Find someone who is where you want to be. Talk to them and start shaping your strategy.
If you’re like me, continuously searching for the perfect solution, the perfect strategy and the quickest way, know that the quickest way is to get started right away. The more you overthink this, the harder it’s going to be.
What can you do right now to stop searching for the perfect solution and actually move towards your goal?
