I was always wondering how to include sea buckthorn in my diet. Since these fruits have potent antioxidant properties, I thought it’s best to use it to strengthen the immune system. So, I immediately thought of making a syrup. This syrup helps strengthen your immune system to better fight viruses and get rid of colds faster. I recommend you use it especially in autumn and spring.
The immune-boosting syrup is not a miracle potion. However, it contains valuable nutrients that help your body function a bit better or a lot better. Results vary of course depending on your current health condition and lifestyle. If you believe that having a junk food diet and consuming immunity syrups will help you stay healthy, then I am sorry to disappoint.
What makes this syrup so powerful is its high vitamin and mineral content.

Ingredients
- 200 ml sea buckthorn juice (about 500-600 g sea buckthorn fruits)
- 200 g honey
- the juice from a 1-2 inch piece of ginger (best adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Blend the sea buckthorn or use a fork to puree it. Using a piece of cloth or a strainer, squeeze the juice in a bowl.
Mix the sea buckthorn juice with the honey.
Grate the ginger. Squeeze the juice and add that to the mixture.
Add the lemon juice (freshly squeezed).
The syrup is now ready.
So easy and so potent. Take 1 tbsp of syrup mixed with water, on an empty stomach, every morning for 1-2 weeks, once or twice a year.
